Hey guys. It's me again. I was wondering, does anyone use twitter? I have one. My name is conveniently jayre, for all you internet people to find it. Since I seem to go by that. Anyway it's kinda cool, maybe. It's like facebook status without the facebook. Also, there's a facebook app that updates your facebook status when you update your twitter, if you want to kill two birds and such. You can also set it up so you get a text message when your friends update twitter, and you can update yours using text messages.

Anyway. I have text messages now. Sharayah told me to update my xanga, so I did.

I mean, uh, I'm still alive. Really. Here's what you missed: I graduated. I got married. I "moved" to Tulsa (even though all my stuff was already here for school). I'm a grad student at TU now.

But I'm really making this post after all this time because I had something I just really had to say.

My wife made me a sandwich for lunch and I left it at home. Now I can't eat until like 3:30. It's sad.

ok, I never update anymore. What has happened..... The semester ended. I had Christmas break. Sharayah came for the last week and we planned pretty much the whole wedding. <kp edit>I love him a lot.</kp edit> We made a website this past wednesday because we were bored and it was free and I was stuck in the computer lab being an APA for 5 hours. So the website is here, if you want to see it. Also, take bowling this semester. Ok.

I'm subscribed to 59 people, and there hasn't been an update since Sunday. You guys are as bad as me.

So, what's happened in a month and a half... Well, I had fall break. That was nice. Breaking and such. Actually I didn't get anything done, which was bad. But before break, I gave a short korean a ring, and she said she'd marry me. Which is pretty awesome, if you ask me.

It's sparklier in real life. It sparkles in the dark. I don't even know how that works. Anyway we're pretty excited, and we're getting married May 10, which is only 190 days away. I am pretending that that doesn't sound like a very long time to me. We're planning the wedding, which is a lot more fun than people ever say it is. I thought the guy was supposed to be disinterested? I don't know, I like the planning so far, cause I'll be marrying Sharayah. Who wouldn't want to plan for that?

Now, for the usual stuff. Senior paper is still hard. Oral comm is still boring. Golf is over, which is cool. I am not a golfer, I've decided. But that's ok, it was an easy HPE. I'm only taking 12 hours next semester. Suddenly taking way too many hours every semester until now makes sense.

Oh, I just remembered. David played bass in chapel today, which was pretty awesome. He looked kinda small up there, but he fit and he played good, so it was cool. <kp edit>He swooshed his hair. Lots.</kp edit>

So I've had retreats the last two weekends. They've both been good. APA retreat last weekend, honors retreat this weekend. Lots of late night worship and waking up the next morning anyway. I think if you worship until 4am you should be allowed to sleep in the next morning. Jesus would understand. But both weekends I came back kind of exhausted, even though it was good. Benson even tried to snuggle me. I don't know.

So I guess a lot has happened since my last entry. I'm only ever updating this once a month now, so here's what I can think of that you missed: I finally made it into ORU worship for vocals. So my minor is not lost. Also, I hurt my left middle finger at APA retreat so I couldn't try out on guitar. They might let me do it once I'm better, though. David made the chapel and tours teams on bass, which is pretty awesome for a freshman, so that's cool. Labor day weekend (these might be out of order) I went home and chilled. I could swear I already wrote a post about this, but there's not one. Sharayah came with me and got to meet some more family. She still likes me even after that, which is a good sign. Um.. oh, here's one: I haven't yet missed a single class this year. Or a chapel. Or anything else I was supposed to be at. And it's been like a month. That's pretty good for me. I think the last time that happened was freshman year.

I guess that's about it. Not a lot happens in my life. Also I fell in love with a beautiful korean princess. So there's that. <kp edit>I suppose it's about time since she's been after me about it for the past two years.</kp edit> 3-3

...the back to school and/or Tulsa post. So, I'm back in Tulsa... at school. Registration and harbor went fine. I think harbor was a lot better last year, but the scheduling of everything was so messed up by the PGA being here that I guess it couldn't be helped. Whatever.

Obviously classes started today. I've got a pretty light load this semester, really. I have senior paper, but I'm only taking 12.5 hours, or 13.5 if the whole worship team thing works out. I'm looking forward to not being half-zombie for most of the semester, since it looks like I'll be able to sleep at night and stuff, which I think I will enjoy.

I'm finally taking Oral Comm. I think it's me and a bunch of freshmen.. That should be interesting. Maybe it won't be so bad.

This should be a pretty awesome year. Good things are going to happen. They are. Watch.

Well, since you asked, the best thing is described in the so-titled song by Relient K (lyrics here). However when I refered to "the coolest thing ever" that was just a figure of speech. There may or may not be things cooler than that emery concert.

We caught some big fish, and we will soon eat them.

If you're a regular reader (all 4 of you) you'll remember that in a previous entry I mentioned that my cell phone was out of commission. That is no longer true. Sort of. I'm using my old phone, the one that half the time just sends people to voicemail without ever ringing or registering a missed call. My mom had been using it, but she got a new one. So now you can call me again. I don't expect much, in the month I was without a phone I only got 5 messages, and 3 were from the same person.

Right. Are you a gamer? Do you like video games and video game related discussion? Shawn very thoroughly covered E3 in his new blog. Yea, I'm still plugging that for some reason. Anyway it's a good read.

Dude. I went to an Emery concert on Tuesday. It was pretty much the coolest thing ever. It was an all acoustic show. Acoustic Emery is like the second best thing ever. They also have a new cd coming out soon. Excitement ensues.

Also, tomorrow morning my family's leaving for the gulf to do some deep sea fishing. We'll get back in town Sunday night. It's a pretty long drive, so me and David can get some quality gaming in on the way there and back. That should be cool.

Finally, Shawn has a new blog. I already told you that, weren't you listening?

My brother Shawn just got a xanga. He wants me to post about it in mine so that he doesn't have to find you all, you can find him. So if you know him, go look/subscribe/comment/etc. He's already got two posts up. They might be interesting. You don't know.

Speaking of Shawn, I was just in Jenks last week taking care of his dog and house while he was out of town. It was a pretty good week, I think. I had an ok time.

When I got back I had an interesting discussion with my parents. It was a good discussion. They don't think I'm stupid and/or crazy.

Now I have a lot of work to do for the rest of the summer. It should be ok, I need money and I need something to keep me busy. It won't be so bad.

Shawn dropped a pizza on the floor top down. It was really sad. I cried a little, at least on the inside.

I think I feel a little like the Kids in the Way song The Seed We've Sown. That's unrelated to the pizza. It's a good song (Jason's 2nd most uttered phrase.)

I don't think that Wii boxing is an accurate way to determine who would win in a fight. I would have won in real life.
